ARTUR KUBIK

Artur Kubik, aka FERBI, raps, plays the double bass, and produces music. He doesn’t limit himself to
one style, but instead adjusts it to the emotional charge that each track is meant to convey.
The artist and his band have performed at the Silesian Juwenalia student festival, at the Spodek Arena
in Katowice, played as support of Vito Bambino twice, headlined the 31st Grand Finale of WOŚP in
Mikołów, played at the Newonce Bar, and appeared at many festivals. In 2022, they launched a side
event project called HOP ON – a cyclical hip-hop jam session combining musical improvisation with
rap and freestyle – with which they tour across Poland.
Professionally, Artur composes music for video and artistic projects, as well as handling their sound
design. He graduated from the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice with a degree in
double bass. He was a participant of Młoda Polska Filharmonia (Young Polish Philharmonic) and the
International Lutosławski Youth Orchestra scholarship programs. He participated in the NOSPR
Academy. He has performed as a soloist with the Archetti Chamber Orchestra and the UMFC
Chamber Orchestra. He possesses a classical background, but has always simultaneously developed in
the direction of hip-hop. This allowed him to quickly start learning production, and he now
successfully combines the worlds of hip-hop and classical music.
